So Lily and I are here in Philly, while Daddy is in Hawaii--Lucky lucky him...we sure wish we could have gone on this adventure
The job-sharing has been going on for almost a month now and we seem to be getting into the swing of things with the lab work and child care--this is so close to ideal and I'm loving every minute of it... I get to keep my finger in the lab work AND see my little love (and play with a very smart little one-year-old) every other day...
The kids are so great together...Lily loves watching Brent and he kisses her and is fascinated by her...it is so cute, he grins whenever he sees her
It is amazing watching both of them interact and watching how they are growing
For my sister...Lily is busy learning to sit up alone...she props herself up with her arms and can sit for about 2 mins before tipping over or forward...AND she is consistently walking forwards in her walker! yay for Lily...she is watching and focusing on everything ...and the goofball loves to look at things upside down
We just started giving Lily solid food (yum rice cereal)...she's not too wild about the rice cereal but shes getting some in her mouth and that is a start...i'm curious to see how she'll react to all the yummy home-made baby food waiting for her...I think we're going to try squash or yellow beans next week

hmm. I think everyone is jealous of Justin! I miss Lily--we should talk again about when a good time to visit is. I remember you said Labor Day..it might be difficult as we start classes the week before, but maybe it could still work. I will see how expensive the tickets are.
